Dean's Award

Award Recipients

The Dean's Award will be awarded annually at the May Commencement for the outstanding design or development project for a CLIS course by a CLIS student or a group of students (at least one of whom must be a CLIS student). Projects are to be nominated by faculty as an example of outstanding work that further understanding by offering new insights into development or design.

Procedure for Submission:

All submissions should be made electronically by the course instructors to CLISAwards@gmail.com by the last day of classes in the spring semester. In the submission email, please indicate name(s) of the student(s), the title of the project, and the course for which the work was submitted. Provide the web address of the project or attach the content of the project with the email.

The selection committee will consist of three or four faculty members to be formed at the end of the spring semester. The final decision should be submitted to the chair of the Research and Teaching Support Committee in mid-May.

The award letter will be sent before the Commencement. The student(s) winning the award will be asked to attend the CLIS Commencement to receive the award. The prize is a cash award and a certificate.
