About the series:
The Information Studies Colloquium (formerly CLIS Research Seminar Series) features research presentations from scholars in the field of Information Studies. The College of Information Studies at the University of Maryland at College Park hosts the IS Colloquium weekly in Room 2119, Hornbake Building.

Information Studies Colloquium seminars are normally held from 4:00-5:00 p.m. on Wednesdays in the Hornbake Building, South Wing, room 2119. The room can be reached from the street side of Hornbake by taking the elevator to the second floor and turning left as you exit. Hornbake is divided into two wings, and it is not possible to reach the South ("classroom") Wing from inside the main (library) section of the building. Parking for visitors is available for a fee in the Union Lane Garage near the Stamp Student Union.
