Maryland's iSchool MLS Students Present at ALISE Conference

(College Park, MD 1/18/08)-Maryland’s iSchool is pleased to recognize three Masters of Library Science students who successfully presented their juried paper at the 2008 ALISE Annual Conference in Philadelphia.

David Piper, Rivka Yerushalmi, and Serenity Palmer presented their paper, “Integrating Learning, Research and Practice: Findings from an MLS Community Engagement Project on Public Library Services for Older Adults.”  According to the students, the presentation was “based on the findings, research and recommendations from three Maryland public libraries regarding information-seeking needs and behaviors of older adult patrons.”
