IT Specialist David Baugh Receives Wilson Staff Excellence Award

On September 18, Dean Preece conferred the Wilson Staff Award to David Baugh, IT Specialist, for his dedication and excellence in service.

William G. Wilson Staff Excellence Award for Academic Year 2006-2007

The College of Information Studies established the Wilson Award for two purposes:  (1) to recognize and appreciate staff for their excellence in service and (2) to remember the significant contributions that our former colleague Bill Wilson made to the College.  The selection criterion for the award is the extent to which a nominee’s work exemplifies the “Bill Wilson Spirit” - the unique qualities of being committed to the College, its people, and its mission; helpful, able, warm, and generous; and willing to help with any situation, often before any problem might even be apparent.  This year’s award selection committee included Beverly Brown, Miriam Matteson, Yan Qu, Dagobert Soergel, Ping Wang, and Bo Xie.
