Myra Wilson Scholarship
The College of Information Studies invites applications for the annual award of the Myra Wilson scholarship to a MLS degree student at CLIS.
The scholarship was established in 1999 in memory of Myra Wilson, a CLIS graduate, to honor “her respect for education, and her delight in finding answers to myriad, often obscure, questions…” The qualifications of the scholarship winner will reflect those of Myra Wilson: “excellent interpersonal skills and a terrific sense of humor.”
Selection of Recipient
Based on applicant’s professional goals, academic achievement, and qualifications as expressed in a letter of application.
Eligibility of Applicants
- Full or part-time MLS degree student currently enrolled at CLIS
- Interest in law librarianship, public library reference, or international librarianship
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and terrific sense of humor

Interested students must submit a letter of interest and essay to:

Presentation of Scholarship
The scholarship will be presented during the CLIS commencement ceremony in May.
